K-ark 848 =1968 K-Ark 1024 = 1970 so guess is 1969 / 1970?
But the discography reads that they started with 1000 numbers and started over again at 600 later. So isn't this one of the first K-Ark singles? I'm thinking between 1963 and 1967.
Globaldog is not always correct. in realty 1000 comes after release 999. K-Ark 1024 is def 1970
I read around this time K-Ark was "pitching to unknowns charging them $1200 for a session and then providing them with 100 "free" records". (Billboard 10/9/1971) I wonder if this is one of Arthur D's free records or a legit recording? In 1971 K Ark lost it's liscence to record for utilizing various methods to work around paying union scale to musicians. Does anybody know if they continued on past this point? I wonder if John Capps, the owner, actually produced the session? Guess I have nothing but questions about this one.
