Send Me The Pillow That You Dream On

A lot of people covered this song back in the 60s, but I think it was Hank Locklin who had the most success with it, and made it his own. I have nine cover versions by different artists. The Everly Brothers did it well too. I like the piano backing on this take.

My pillow is kinda nasty. Need to wash it before I'd send it to anyone.

Yep, the piano backing is pretty good. Wonder who it is.

May I suggest more ditties like this? Just love anything from 1945 to 1965 that has a tinkling upright piano in it. Must be 10,000 or more recordings where a piano was used. Only ever heard a few hundred. Leaves lots to look forward to. Keep up your excellent work.
