Sunshine Ruby

Sunshine Ruby was a teenage country music singer in the 50s. You can read all about her at this site. This is her very first record. I like the guitars on this track. It must have been really cool for the little kid to get to hang out with all those seasoned session guys.

As a thank you for this and your other fine records, here's another country youngster, Louie Roberts, ripped from my 45.

I receive far more from blogs like yours than I'm able to give back. You're more than welcome and keep up the good work.

Just came across your blog and wanted to say that Ruby is still very much alive and living in TX. I grew up with Ruby's kids. You can see Ruby on you tube.

Thanks to our anonymous friend who assures us that Ruby is still with us.

What a fantastic record! A thousand years from now, people will enjoy listening to this a lot more than anything from Miley Cyrus. Note how perfectly synchronized the bass and guitar are on "Tango."

My aunt, Ruby Clower is still alive and living in Grand Saline, Tx. She was my mothers younger sister.
